The Eureka Easy Clean vacuum is a 2 in 1 lightweight vacuum which weighs less than 5 pounds to easily get into spaces where dirt and allergens linger. Despite its light weight, it is free-standing and is able to stand upright when not in use. Enabled with an on/off three position brushroll switch, it allows you to pick the mode in which you want the vacuum to operate. It picks up dirt from bare floors as well as area rugs. The switch provides you with the option of selecting the ‘floor’ or ‘carpet’ mode.Ideal for vacuuming quickly and efficiently.
This lightweight upright vacuum has a 2 in 1 feature, where the handle can collapse to convert into a handheld vacuum. This handheld vacuum is ideal for cleaning stairs and countertops. Getting the Best Results
• Do not use the cleaner without the dust cup filter properly installed. This can damage the cleaner. To clean the dust cup, pull the dust cup filter out and shake the dirt from the filter.• Some fine particles can restrict airflow very quickly and will decrease performance even before the dust container appears full. For that reason, when vacuuming carpet fresheners or cleaners, powder, plaster dust or similar fine substances, the dust cup and filter may need cleaning more often.
• Use the cleaner to pick up dirt and dust particles. Avoid picking up hard or sharp objects that could damage the vacuum cleaner. Keep the brushroll free from hair and threads for it to clean efficiently.
• To avoid unnecessary service calls, check the dust cup and motor filter often. Empty the dust cup if it is full, and clean the motor filter when it is dirty.

I have used it LIGHT DUTY for the whole 10 years. On mostly hard floors and a couple of area rugs. It has been bullet-proof. I have a canister vac and a swiffer wet-jet for actual cleaning. This is important as the Eureka Easy Clean is a great little LIGHT DUTY, area, hair and crumb removal tool. That is what it is for and it excels at specifically that job. I should rate 5 stars...but it would need just a little bit more suction for that. If eureka increased the motor size (amperage) then it would get 5 stars. Removing the handle is accomplished easily to facilitate cleaning pet hair from furniture. The vac can be operated with the revolving brush on or off by selecting the appropriate setting at the switch.It's great for small quick cleanups on carpet or cleaning bare floors. Make no mistake, this is not a replacement for a full-size, full-power vac. As a test I used this product on a section of heavy-traffic carpet that went two weeks without cleaning. It picked up the pet hair fairly well and filled it's dust cup. I then cleaned the same section with a new Bissel Cleanview Bagless upright (I've also written a review for the Bissel). The Bissel picked up enough pet hair, dust and dirt to fill the Eureka's dust cup several times. The dust cup on the Eureka is easy to remove but messy to empty and tapping it to remove the dust results in dust flying everywhere. Keeping in mind what it's designed... You can also remove the long handle and use the broom much like a powerful dustbuster. (The top of my fridge looks fantastic now) Although I mainly use this for hard floors/tile, I did have great results on my carpeted steps. Some people complain that this won't stand up on it's own... which I don't understand. It leans when needed and is so light that rarely do I ever stand it; except when I'm finished and need to store the broom in my closet. And, it's so small it fits in their perfectly. Why not 5 stars? It's good for daily cleaning, but with the title of "Superbroom" it should be able to pick up even the must stubborn crumb. |
